Fat People

We are not a particularly skinny household. We're not obese but we sure ain't skinny.

We have a sticker on the door that says "Fat people are harder to kidnap."

Anyway, we're watching TV tonight (Criminal Minds in case you were curious) and they boy says "Why aren't there more fat people on TV? Half of the population of the United States is fat. There needs to be more fat people on TV."

So then we started rhyming off "fat" actors: John Candy, John Goodman, John Belushi, Jim Belushi, Roseanne, "Edgar" on "24", Jackie Gleason... and then the boy says "But they're all comedians or play computer geeks!" And he's right. Fat people are allowed to be smart or funny. That's pretty much it.

I, of course, am both *grin*.

Great Gosh Amighty!!

This has been a long time coming...

I've been incredibly busy, I guess although I can't tell you with what *grin*.

I *can* tell you that I get a little obsessive compulsive about stuff. Usually for about 2 weeks and then it fades *grin*. One of my lastest compulsions is a woman by the name of Kristin Chenoweth. She was the original Glinda in "Wicked" on Broadway. And she won a Tony for "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." And she was on "The West Wing" for the last couple of seasons. She has this absolutely amazing voice. Anyway, here's a video of her on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." You can find lots more about her on www.youtube.com.

*sigh* I love that woman.
